Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide support to Production, Maintenance, Engineering Personnel for system troubleshooting, root cause analysis of failures, and future corrective actions.

  • Responsible for analysis of current programs including performance, diagnosis, and troubleshooting of problems, and designing solution to problematic programming

  • Modify existing system programming per user requests

  • Communicating directly with end users on issues, potential resolutions, or scheduled activities.

  • Provide expert knowledge of production processes as well automation design and/or architecture

  • Design, develop, and program new automation systems

  • Oversee the design and development of production automation systems by reviewing design and test documents (URS/FRS/DDS/Drawings/IOPQ) produced by outside system integrators to verify adherence to project scope and technical expectations

  • Responsible for planning, processing and performing all job tasks in an efficient manner with little direction from supervisor.

  • Supervise MIS programming engineers and contractors on an ad hoc basis to support project goals and/or MIS End User service levels.

  • Work closely with management team in evaluating current systems and making decisions on future development of system

  • Coordinate project activities to minimize effect on production schedules and unexpected system outages.

  • Oversee System Server support and maintenance.

Requirements

  • Ten (10) years working experience in engineering or automation roles.

  • Five (5) years working experience in GMP regulated industry.

  • Ten (10) years working experience with Allen Bradley / Wonderware / Archestra systems.

  • Strong and effective inter-personal and communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group.

Eligibility Requirements :

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.

  • Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required).

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
