Manager, Asset Management at Boehringer Ingelheim Fremont, Inc. in Fremont, CA
Work in the Engineering and Technology department regarding the site Enterprise Asset Management System (EAM/Maximo), including all related SOPs, work instructions and all other execution documents. Execute additions and removals of assets into the EAM (Maximo) and work order flow and processing. Provide support for maintenance reliability, planning, and scheduling to ensure that asset management processes and production suites operate within designed parameters. Perform quality control on EAM records to ensure compliance with the Company’s standards. Responsible for the accurate and timely creation of asset records and associated records that support the life cycle of assets at the site. Facilitate discussions with other functions (Clinical Manufacturing and GMP Operations, Facilities and Production, and Manufacturing). Facilitate capacity issue resolution to ensure compliance work is completed. Facilitate the training program for the EAM system, ensure all staff with EAM access have the proper training for their level of access. Ensure that the site license for the EAM are valid. Work on enhancement requests or change requests for the EAM system, ensuring compliance. Responsible for the business processes, generating and creating reports, and managing EAM support contractors.
Job Requirements: Master’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Engineering, Computer Applications, Information System, Information Technology or a related field and three (3) years of experience with EAM (Maximo) or CMMS systems. Or, Bachelor’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Engineering, Computer Applications, Information System, Information Technology or a related field and five (5) years of experience with EAM (Maximo) or CMMS systems. Must possess one (1) year of experience: maintenance and risk assessment (emphasis in GLP laboratory, GMP production sites); in the Pharmaceutical or Biotech Industry; with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), and ICH Guidelines; and with GMP maintenance and calibration programs.
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (8:00am to 5:00pm)
