The Digital Marketing Business Analyst US will function strategically, tactically and technically to ensure delivery of digital marketing & customer facing projects, web sites, content, and applications. The Digital Marketing Business Analyst will also support all Species Marketing teams and will act as the key interface between Marketing and IT to translate business requirements into technical requirements, and as such will be instrumental in providing leadership and insight in the design and management of digital Marketing & Customer initiatives for US Business Operations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and give clear, effective presentations appropriate for the circumstances.

  • Communicate success, concerns, risks, and status updates to stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with peers to share learnings, core processes, systems, and best practices. Cultivate teamwork by facilitating cross department communication.

  • Support the expansion of digital strategy and as the ScrumMaster lead digital projects for Marketing and customer facing projects & teams relying on Agile methodology structure in coordination with internal customers, IT and potential vendors.

  • Lead the testing activities related to digital projects and initiatives prior to deployment, including preparation of required test scripts in coordination with internal customers and IT.

  • Translate functional and business requirements into technical requirements

  • Analyze, adjust, track and measure digital activities to recommend successful tactics and improve return on investments. As such define, monitor, report and review performance and capacity of systems.

  • Understand broad system and application landscape supporting digital marketing activities, including but not limited to digital marketing campaigns.

  • Stewart to continually improve digital platforms & applications to support Marketing as a center of excellence in the digital marketing space.

  • Provide training as required.

  • Ensure performance and capacity of systems & applications meet optimum efficiency in line with SLA’s, and as such has accountability and responsibility for data integrity, performance metrics, SLA, and ROI definition & analysis for Marketing.

  • Support and provide best practices which include business communication skills, process development and presentation, requirement gathering, program design, testing, and implementation for the Portal/eCommerce, Customer Facing, and Marketing Excellence projects

  • Develop new as well as ensures that any current SOP’s and Content development requirements are being adhered too.

  • Ensures design & documentation of customer facing applications is prepared and up to date in accordance with internal standards and best practices.

  • Provide initial support to internal customer and escalate as required to technical teams.

  • Responsibility for ensuring issues and/or outages are communicated to the user community. Translate departmental goals into actionable and measurable digital marketing initiatives

  • Provide initial support to internal customer and escalate as required to technical teams.

  • Support Marketing teams with ad-hoc requests related to content management (e.g. hand-on support for website content update, upload customer data/email addresses)


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science preferred

  • Eight to ten (8-10) years of IS Business Analyst experience across multiple functional business areas with web site and content technical skills

  • Strong Project Leadership Experience, and experience with Agile Methodology Structure

  • Understanding of Portal, eCommerce and Web applications with hands-on portal & web content management experience

  • Understanding of multi-channel marketing platforms and experience in various platforms

  • Web Analytics: Omniture (Adobe Analytics), Webtrends, Google Analytics, etc.

  • Campaign Management : Eloqua (Oracle), Exact Target (Salesforce Marketing Cloud), Adobe Campaign Management

  • CRM :, Microsoft CRM

  • Understanding technologies and strategies to deploy applications on different devices (iPad, Android, Windows).

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to perform on a high-delivery fast paced team.

  • Strong Reasoning and problem solving skills.

  • Self-motivator and focused on delivering solutions for business benefit.

  • Ability to translate business questions and requirements into IT technical specification
